1. Make a list of home repairs. Make a list of all repairs that need to be done. What are the quick fixes? What will take more time or expertise? Call a handyman service like us (hint hint) it’s what we do! We would love to help you!
2. Make cleaning your glass easier. A great way to keep glass doors and windows clean is by using any glass cleaner with a squeegee, although cloth and paper towels will also work. Use a special streak free solution instead of a regular glass cleaner. The streak free solution is a little more expensive but well worth the cost.
For your shower door you will want to use rain repellent or Rain-X. Just like your car’s windshield your shower door will remain streak free for months.
4. Organize Closets– Many people dread closet organization but you will feel so much better once its done and your space will look larger! Take everything out of your closet(s) and decide what you really need and what you haven’t used in a while.
If you have something you haven’t used or worn in five years, it may be time to get rid of it. Donate all unused items to your local shelter for a tax deduction.
5. Vacuum In Hard To Reach Places– Dedicate a day to pulling out your furniture and vacuuming everywhere. This will keep dust mites away and will keep your home feeling fresh and can also eliminate unwanted odors.
